Description
Deep Stab Inoculation: Inoculation needles (straight wire) are used in microbiology to introduce microorganisms into semi-solid media (like deep agar tubes) via a straight stab. They are also ideal for carefully picking and transferring very small, isolated colonies.
Application: Used for identifying motility and specific biochemical characteristics of microbes. Must be sterilized (flamed) before and after each use.
